Rainer Metzger tells us about Vienna from the perspective of people who moved to the city and shaped it: we listen to the poet Walther von der Vogelweide at the Babenberg court and meet the world-renowned traveling artist Rosalba Carriera, we meet the freed slave and enlightener Angelo Soliman, roam Vienna's sewers with the third-man director Carol Reed and spend their honeymoon at the Hotel Sacher with John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
